Sister Crash

You’ve probably seen Sonya Crash around. Or have you? Was that one of her sisters? You know. From the evil clone army. The ones who can turn into beasts? She’s doing her best to make up for—everything.

Found exclusively inside single issues of Radiant Red 1-5, available through Image Comics. Check your local comic shop—Sister Crash is the Kamen Rider-inspired sad girl monster hero you’ve been craving. From literary award-winning Paul Allor, Chris Evenhuis and colourist Brittany Peer.

Having being given the challenge to create a tokusatsu-inspired heroine for Kyle Higgins’ Massiveverse, Paul turned to me for help. I’d edited him before, and I used to podcast about Kamen Rider. With Chris, we settled on Sonya: a clone happy in the clone army sisterhood, who wakes up after some mayhem gone wrong and realises… She’s evil. She’s always been evil. And her sisters, and their Mother, are evil too. They’ve got to be stopped—and who but Sonya knows how?
