Another collaboration between David Taylor and I! His newest series, Her Hardboiled Heart, is an espionage erotic thriller—a battle of secrets and guilt between a mark and their mark… And their handler.
As with Wild Nature, David and I talked about themes and character and how to build structure out from these two pillars. He put together his scripted outlines, and I gave my notes on those—we talked those out to satisfaction. Then, David does his thumbnails and/or rough pages, with lettering, which process leads to some restructuring—then I look at those, we talk it out. And so on, until the end!
