Doom's Fourth

DOOM’S FOURTH #1 and #2; superhero comics styled to pass as Grange Hill

Five “bad kids” get sent to an experimental boarding school, and discover their teachers have some very different ideas about what’s supposed to happen during education. Kate and Jason fall in love; Richie’s heart holds a secret tight. The twins run amok.

Everyone in this story is autistic.

Part one of five of a retelling of a 1993 American superhero story (Extreme Studios’ DOOM’S IV) as a 1993 British school story (DOOM’S FOURTH, as in “fourth” form, as in year ten). Like what if Rob Liefeld sold a story to Bunty? A literary experiment, and a story I like a great deal.

A graphic novel in disguise as a five issue series, in the American tradition, that can be read in six-page chapters, as in the British tradition. Manuscript finished; 1/2 remains unscanned. Scanning is very boring—it impedes the sharing of my work.
